 Wow! Talk about surprises. I thought maybe top 10 but never a ribbon. Thanks for all those who took time to comment. This was done for a local photo club I started in my neighborhood. I decided to be a bit more creative with my pp (thus the bright almost high key look to her face) also I shot in a much shallower DOF than I am used to. But I liked the effect, even though the stock photographer in me wanted it all in focus.

So exciting to get a ribbon for this. Thanks all!

lovely shot, a little blown out on her face though, her right eye is a little softer than the left, unless of course that's the look you wanted. 7

Very good angle and pose. Lovely catch lights in the eyes. It is overexposed in the face in my opinion, as shown by the lack of detail in the right side of her face turned closest to the window. Bringing the exposure down would have given you a nice, bright subject against a very dark background. I like the color of the window light. The eyes are done very nicely.
