That feels very special!
Opposite to "leaf on the water" image, which was totally accidental, this one was planned and my friend came from NJ with her daughter to see me, but also to do this shoot. :-) Those two girls are my photographic muses, I owe them one of my favorite photos , as well as MANY others!

A very tender moment indeed, but I think it's the lighting which kicks it into high gear - the outline of all the fingers is just marvelous, as is the focus being on just the hands. Congrats on the ribbon.

Love this shot. Easy to count. And an incredibly beautiful, strong, intimate depiction of parenting. An absolute blue if dpc has humanity and I think they/we have. Technically/artistically brilliant. I think there is so much that could be said but I'll just say that the inclusion of the eyeglasses on the mother strikes a particularly earthy, contemporary, and ultimately satisfying note.
