My models did a GREAT job. Very few times I have been able to get exactly what I had in mind for a shot. And this time what was even harder was the lights set up.

The place were I take these shots is not huge, therefore getting the right amount of light for all the characters was tough.

The best solution was to use a couple of speedlights from the ground towards Nicola, the main character, while the other models had their smartphones hid behind someone else in order to get the light they needed without showing the real source of light.

The idea came to my mind since Nicola, who's gonna be a candidate in the next regional elections, asked me to take him some photos for his political campaign. My answer was positive, of cours, but I told him that I needed a model for for another photo.

Of course without Marco, Silvia, Federico and Alessandra this photo couldn't be the same :)

It was not a usual score for a blue but I take it! Very exciting to win with this image that I like very much for its concept and excution. Thanks everybody :)

So nice Alessandro- congrats on the well deserved blue. (however, I am a bit dissapointed in the lack of nudity, given, at least, the history of National Italian politics)

Well-lit image that conveys the sense of Lucifer as politician, amid his dark coterie of acolytes. Draped in bling --- good touch. I feel that we are getting a truer picture than politicians prefer to present. Too bad his acolytes don't look more grim.
