hmm the angle could be better I reckon
04/27/2002 12:12:00 PM
nice colors, the one bright spot is distracting
04/26/2002 09:14:00 PM
i like the colors alot., as well as the texture of the water
04/26/2002 06:14:00 PM
Nice composition but the bright highlight bothers me a little.

The light spot in the lower right corner of the glass is a bit distracting...
04/26/2002 03:42:00 PM
you've got to light subjects like this from the side - its one the most difficult shots to be successful with - glass and liquids! I chose the same materials for my submission and finished up using 4 light sources!
04/25/2002 08:33:00 PM
really nice color in this one
04/24/2002 01:34:00 PM
The coloured light and clear liquid makes it harder to see the stopped motion ^W^W I mean transition ;o)
04/24/2002 12:31:00 PM
i bet you could have hidden the reflection of the flash with the bottom glass, and the pure blue has a little hint of pink in the corner where I can see your hand.

great lighting and use of challenge
04/23/2002 08:04:00 PM
I like the different shades of blue that are in this shot. but for me, not enough is in focus.
04/23/2002 04:05:00 PM
Love the blue color!
04/23/2002 12:56:00 PM
Nicely composed, except the light glare at the bottom is distracting.
04/23/2002 12:04:00 PM
Different angle -- maybe not straight down on the one glass -- might be better.
04/23/2002 08:05:00 AM
good idea, seems a little blurry tho
04/23/2002 04:40:00 AM
I see a face in the glass.... Another angle might have given this a higher vote. The white spot takes away from the subject.
04/22/2002 08:25:00 PM
Even though it's water, this is a nice transition photo. I would like it better if the camera angle was different.. maybe a side shot where we could see the water pouring would have added some more impact...
04/22/2002 08:22:00 PM
when i first saw this i thought the glass on the right was some substance being poured out of the glass on the left, and upon closer inspection maybe that was the intent, in any case, i like the coloration, even if the actual subject is a little uninsteresting
04/22/2002 02:20:00 PM
very nice lighting, one of the more creative ways to show a boring and normal transition. good job.
04/22/2002 01:29:00 PM
perhaps a different perspective would be better, and the hand in the left corner is distracting.
04/22/2002 01:01:00 PM
Blew
04/22/2002 12:25:00 PM
like the color in this. maybe crop out the left side a little more though, IMO.
04/22/2002 11:34:00 AM
This photographed so nicely! Nice work
04/22/2002 10:49:00 AM
Good concept, the blue glass looks very good, but the rest of the shot doesn't match as well. The tan reflection distracts from the cold theme here
04/22/2002 10:11:00 AM
flash reflection is a distraction. Foreground glass is out of focus too .
04/22/2002 08:14:00 AM
a little too typical for my eyes
04/23/2002 03:34:00 PM
Cool color. It took me a second to figure out what the picture was. It is a transition in the most basic senses. I would have liked to see a little more creativity in the interpretation.
04/22/2002 01:24:00 AM
Is there a particular reason for choosing this angle to convey the idea of "one to the other". I like the lighting.
