 I'd hoped to capture the snow on the branches after a storm, but work kept me indoors 'til too late. This was also shot with a work camera (Olympus Camedia E-20N) and not my Sony Mavica FD-91.

So, transitions... earth to sky, winter to spring, ice to water to vapor, "death" to "life", etc etc etc -- those are some of my impressions here -- in case anybody comes back through and looks

This is a cool picture -- nice color and contrast. For me, if the first branch had been slightly more clear, it would have been better.

i don't understand the transition, i mean i know that you are trying to show new growth after the winter or whatever, or maybe changing of season. the quality of your picture makes up for it though, and the actual plant itself looks interesting

Good choice using the sky as the backdrop. Makes an otherwise dull branch seem important.

What kind of tree is this? Only ever seen white bark on one other tree.
