I don't guess that I have to mention the background :) Picky, picky people, huh? Seriously, it would make the girls stand out much better. You don't necessarily have to have a solid sheet. I sort of like the candid nature of this rather than a studio feel. It would just be a lot stronger without the competing prints (and that line down the middle).
It fits the challenge and doesn't have any glaring technical problems. Focus is great, lighting is good (a few shadows but nothing too harsh). Something about the crop is a little off to me. Maybe I don't like having their arms amputated. I actually like cute kid shots but the fact that they both look like they are about to be sick sort of dampens my warm, fuzzy feeling.
Actually, I'm wondering if you couldn't do this with just one girl. Photos usually work better w/ an odd number of subjects. They aren't really interacting or playing off of eachother. I wonder how you would have done with a shot showing just one daughter.

Wow, there are a LOT of fabric prints going on here. A solid background would have helped make the shot less busy. Interesting expressions you've captured here. :-)

Pretty. This is well photographed. I find the patterns on the sofa and the clothing to be a bit busy though.

Cute. The floral patterns tend to blend together though.

I love that 'moment' feel about your image. My kids look like this also when they have just had a glass of milk. Well done and GL.

Cute girls. They look like they really like milk. The girl on the right is just too cute and I like the look on the face of the girl on the left. One thing though: you might want to watch out for your selection of backgrounds next time; it's a bit too busy, especially since the girls have wild patterns on their clothing. Goo luck. Jacko.

well, the girl on the left certainly won't drink milk if she doesn't have to! ;) this is a very well taken photograph of the two girls. even lighting, sharp, nice catchlights in the eyes. and it meets the challenge. the material of the background is a little busy for my liking, but this is still a good shot. :)

Maybe not!

Techincally, the photo is very well taken. Very good color and focus. The background is on the busy side, esp. with the blouses the girls are wearing. Also, there's something about the shadows on the wall...less than perfect. Now, less seriously, the expressions on the girl's faces are confusing. The girl on the right seems serene, wistful, while the girl on the left seems almost terrified by the sight of the milk, both in her facial expression and the way she holds the glass. Is this why the title has a question mark? 7 Swash

Cute girls....wow beautiful. Lots of flowers, printes and colors going on, [busy-prints] I think a different backgroud would of made the girls POP more. Nice focus and light. Good luck.
