 For this contest I thought of my daughter's red dress and go at the Philharmonic in Luxembourg.
It 'a very beautiful building architecturally and I think fxed suited for the setting of the photograph for this contest as it is white and highlights the colors.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

This critique is a little late but ah well, better late than never. Excellent interpretation of the challenge and even better execution, which is so simple, with the big white static columns flanking this tiny dynamic figure in red. The lighting is great, no highlights blinking away and looking like bleach has been poured over the photo. The colour pop is just right and very well executed. I hope your daughter got a nice gift for helping you win a ribbon - and most fitting, a red ribbon!

Basically I cannot think of any way at all to improve this pic. It's truly lovely and I'm glad I was one of your 7s. Very well done and I hope you keep entering!

Thank you all, I am very happy for my first ribbon!
To have a shot I originally thought about having a little red, but that hardly mattered.
that's why I thought about this building and its white columns that help me to give importance to my daughter dressed in red.

What a fascinating location. Great find and great composition, highlighting the subject in all red who takes up very little of the frame but the shapes and patterns draw the eye right to her.

Really love this photo. I know it's minimal editing but I'd like to see this popped up for the red is really contrasty against the white. Good job good eye.

Nicely done. I had a similar idea involving a washed out sky and beach with a fleck of a person in a red hoody but it failed on all levels. This is excellent. The top third of the photo is hypnotic. Sweet image.
