Beautifully captured portrait! Congrats! I love that you did it with an iPhone! :) For me, it's about the moment, and you caught that so superbly. |

Thank you very much for the post-challenge comments. This picture definitely means a lot to me so I'm glad it struck a chord with others as well. |

Congratulations on another fine image...and ribbon. I guarantee that if I were to try this kind of image I'd be in the bottom half of the scores...even with the same model and window. Your B&W work with the use of light is superb. |

How come when I do grainy noisey images, all I get is "oh I don't like the grain" but you can get away with it lol!

this occasions the use of the word "plangent." if it doesn't mean the effect of this picture, it ought to. |

Excellent exposure (HDR I'm guessing) and a very good journalistic-type photo. |

Evocative. Something comforting of one's favorite chair...
I like everything about this; the composition, the candidness of the gentleman, his gaze out the window, the B&W processing. This image has a story.
I would hope this would ribbon, my top pick. |

Great story here, with the man in the city hospital. Not sure the chair connection is as strong as the man, balloon, plant or cityscape being the main subjects. |
