I am not sure I loved the tightness of the scene, I just did not feel a sense of grandeur although I feel sure the vision was grand.

I gave this a seven for the wonderful perspective but I think the near land mass should be sharp. I'll bet you are much closer. Great mist, though. 6

sounds about right. DPC voters will like the dreamy foggy colors, but not dramatic enough to score higher. I'll bump you to a four for the sophisticated composition, DPC will give you your 6.2

I think you guessed about right. Maybe a little lower with general DPC voting. It's a great scene, seems to have a bit of diminished IQ -- perhaps telephoto with just a bit too low shutter speed or because it's a tight crop of a bigger scene. Or perhaps just post processing softening you applied. 6.2

A good scene but it seems to lack some clarity in the foreground - almost like movement unsharpness, which I wouldn't expect in this scene. I think you are being a bit optimistic, I predict 5.68

Unique Black and White in full color mode. Its a nice version of the interesting selected ridges you chose. i like the lighting here, I often take these shots of our mountains here where I live. Often time folks don't understand my crop selections as it is my personal preference. I believe voters will show that with yours as well and vote this at an average of 5.23 good Luck

Nice tonality and pretty scene. Woould be ouot of this world with a person or animal for size context. Thinking your guess is close: 6.27

Very little of the image is tack sharp, and I think that is really hurting the image. The clouds are very dramatic though. A person somewhere in the image would really help the scale feeling. I think your estimate is a little high though, 6.03 is my guess.

THe foreground seems out of focus. I'm not sure if it's the processing though. I still like it even if I'd like to see it with another editing. 6.15 for me.

Nice leading line, but the lack of a strong focal point and the grey-on-grey color scale robs it's somewhat of its impact. I guess a 6.1.

Not bad but the foreground looks a bit soft, to me the most interesting part of the image is behind the clouds. Sorry I'm in just under your guess.

7.4 I like this seemingly simple but dynamic image of elemental forces of nature. The foreground mountain, in its furry clarity, provides a compositional anchor. The background mountain on the left, cloaked in snow and cloud, is utterly beautiful. The clouds on the upper right are prettily modulated in tone. So the composition is actually tripartite. Rewarding.
