| I so like the clean look here and the detail is excellent. Not an oyster lover, but I went with a seven anyway. I don't think this will do that well, though, except maybe in a food challenge. 5.7 looks about right to me |

| well it's sharp but DPC will have trouble getting over the fact that you're taking a picture of food garbage. The angle and the white background de-emphasize the "butterfly effect" which is the only thing the photo has going for it. A two from me and from DPC a 5.55 |

| I've never seen one of these in real life, so I don't know if its a mussel,clam, oyster or what it was before it was consumed or what is left or is that what they are like when you get them. Its a sharp focus of the subject with a thoughtful crop, nicely lit with great high lights and some good color inside the shell. I find this interesting to look at, and agree with your score of 5.7â€Â¦ oh ..does that yellow thing have a pearl in it? sorry I live a long way from the ocean. Good Luck with this |

You ate the best part, now I have an empty feeling while you're full.
I think a bit more contrast would help and maybe try to bring out that spot of iridescence under the muscle.
