 All the bulls are gathered together in the winter. And the cows are also gathered together, but in a different part of the park.
A pretty strong storm was happening over the Valentines Day weekend. The snow did not seem to bother them much, or at least it appears to not bother them much, maybe it does.

It was fun to stand out in the snow and take some pics though. I was about 200 yards away I guess, there abouts.

500mm with the 1.4 extender creates the 700mm focal length and I cropped just a little bit.

Great shot Dennis. Congrats on the HM. Worthy shot and cant imagine the conditions this was shot in.. i dont know weather like this unless high in the mountains and even then it hardly ever happens and I certainly wont have a 500 with me.lol

Striking by any standard. But I'll try to articulate why: the stance in particular grabs my attention as if he is calling for it. The atmosphere is compelling as it fills the air with weather and overlays the image with texture and of course, snow. One of the best wildlife shots here on dpc. 8
