this is very artistic. time stamp included. the individual elements feel a bit careless, but the image commands a strong emotional response nontheless. as a rule including a time stamp is a very very bad idea, but, due to the nature of this image, I feel that it actually contributes to this image.

Ugh... you never want the time stamp in a photographic competition - totally kills the image.

As much as I like what I think you are trying to achieve the date is very distracting.

Like this very much - great sense of late night road-trip, the strange emotions of travelling, the strange and enhancing views one sees from trains, busses, and the like, that never seem to present themselves at any other time. Pity about the text though, and the inevitable disqualification you'll get for that. Might you not have cloned it out, or are you making a point?

not sure what you were going for but its too hard to see what is going on here to actually get a mood from this

the time stamp made me feel like this was a video capture

I can't make this out. Sorry, it's very hard to critique.

evokes more depression or elusiveness than loneliness and why did you leave the data and time in this crisp orange ?

Interesting, how'd you get the time and date in there?
11/03/2004 11:44:18 PM
First, I think you should remove the date from being stamped on the photo... that just screams "snapshot." I'm not really sure what the title is referring to... is there a person in the background somewhere? If that's what that spec is, it really should be focused on more. Also, I think you should have either cropped out the lamp at the top completely, or included it completely. Cutting it in half just draws your attention up there and there's nothing else in the picture that pulls my eye away (except the datestamp). Lastly, I don't know if you should have used a tripod or if you were going for some sort of motion look. To me, and it's just my silly opinion, this just doesn't work well. I think it has potential, though, with a clear, in-focus subject.

One point for evey minute.

If it were my photo, I'd lose the time and exposure number. Maybe it was intentional to help set the mood but it doesn't work for me.

interesting idea but i think voters wont get the message, i could be wrong. the date being on the pic really screws it up too. I just think about the day i left home and got on the train to the city and was just staring from the window it looked like this but as a photo for an Oct study i think you could of done better. good luck anyway

was the date intentional? bet you get lotsacomments on this one

Not sure what this is.

really looks lonely, next time leave the time stamp off, nice job!

I can't realy make out what this is. looks like a road or something but there is a lot of motion blur going on.
I would like to know what camera U use because I have never seen a digital camera with a date function IN the picture, normaly it is only in exif data.
Strange but exciting :)

Very blurry and difficult to make out what's in the photo as a result. The date and time stamp in the lower right corner is distracting.

What is this? Looks like a road at night maybe? focus seems really soft and the lighting is so low I can't really make anything out. The date stamp is very distracting. Doesn't add to the photo in any way. Generally people turn those off for taking quality photos. Would you sell this photo with that stamp on there? Probably not.
