thanks for the nice words everyone.
In reviewing the original to send in... it reminded me that I removed some wires-- but also a protruding portion of the flagpole.
I viewed it as incidental at the time...but in re-looking I honestly don't think it is. Bummer.... :o)

Excellent composition. It takes only a few years, in the modern era, to achieve the state of disrepair(in our statues)that it took the Greeks ages to accomplish...
