It's funny that you stated that you did not think people would like the processing. It is vibrant but still seems natural. I came into this shot just to ask if you could send me a quick PM on your editing process? Is this all Photoshop? Do you use plug-in? I would love to know your steps.
Also, processing aside this was a challenge for photographers to shoot "their" style and I knew this was yours the moment I saw it without reading the titel. You have done something not many on DPC have accomplished and that is to develop a style that is not only great but recognizable as your own.
Very well deserved ribbon.

Having a herd of cows as my back yard neighbors, I'm impressed you found a nice clean patch of grass on which to take this, lol :) |

The one in front is funny but I really like the other one. There's something about it hanging back with that facial expression and it just makes me laugh. Good luck! |

Not sheep? Awwww....! But what a wonderful face! I still need to figure out how you do your shots. I have sheep around here, and I'd love it to turn out like yours! |

This makes me smile, Paul!
I wish you'd left the grass more "naturally shot" but the rest... brilliant!
I love it!!
Fabulous! |

No surprise in this one, except that it wasn't a sheep! Really interesting texture on the nose and snout of this cow! |

Someone has an amazing sense of smell. Nice in your face cow picture, not your best but love the humor (and perspective). |

Oh my gosh! How much fun is this?! The "curly" treatment you have subtly applied is so perfect. Methinks you are lucky s/he did not blow slime all over your camera. :-) |

This is such a great photo! It seems like the cow on the right has a slight halo along with the little cows in the background. |

You'd definitely have to do cows or sheep. Too bad you didn't have one of your misty days - though the overreach of the cow combined with the wide angle makes for a very enjoyable shot. |

Wow, that is some distortion. And some flash? The light seems a bit odd. |

The cow whisperer strikes.lovely texture- you bring the sky to the fields, and vice versa. |
