Uh, we say... out!

you've got a very hot reflection of the flash in the brass, which drives the rest of the picture very dark. in-camera flashes are a pain to work with

Some sort of angle or maybe more vivid lighting might make this more appealing to look at.
04/27/2002 08:12:00 PM
An interesting subject. To make it a bit more eye-catching, maybe focus on just hte lock, or change your angle.

Is this a door trying to be a jar?? It doesn't really achieve anything.
04/27/2002 10:22:00 AM
Nice idea but I feel the shiny bits are too shiny and the rest of the metal work is too dark and looses detail.
04/26/2002 07:31:00 PM
a weak transition
04/25/2002 11:49:00 AM
not a lot in this shot to keep my attention.
04/23/2002 04:54:00 PM
The glare off the door is distracting.
04/23/2002 03:47:00 PM
Out.
04/23/2002 12:26:00 PM
would have been better if you'd opened the door wider so we could see what's on the other side
04/23/2002 11:37:00 AM
The flash and/or lighting used is a bit much for the door handle to... handle. A little less bling-bling on the door handle would've lightened the rest of your image right up. Otherwise, a nice idea.
04/23/2002 09:25:00 AM
Too dark, perhaps cropping the knob more would produce a better effect.
04/22/2002 09:18:00 PM
not very creative, and i have no idea what the transition is
04/22/2002 08:30:00 PM
There isn't much to look at here, but it would have been better without the flash. Perhaps taking a shot of the entire door midway open would have been better
04/22/2002 07:36:00 PM
If this door was opened a little more, the transition from in/out would be more evident... You ran into a situation with this shot that I had to deal with in mine for this challenge as well. Certain surfaces are very reflective no matter what angle you shoot from.
04/22/2002 02:22:00 PM
clever idea, ..........details lost in the dark.
04/22/2002 10:34:00 AM
Nice idea, implementation could be better. The picture doesn't seem to be straight, and the flash reflections of the door handle and lock is distracting.
04/22/2002 10:13:00 AM
Flash/ flair is annoying.
04/22/2002 10:08:00 AM
good idea,.. lighting glare is distracting and contrast is a little dark.
04/22/2002 09:50:00 AM
not the greatest choice of subject. Flash reflections also detract
04/22/2002 08:27:00 AM
yucky pic
04/22/2002 08:13:00 AM
not really a transition
04/22/2002 08:08:00 AM
Good idea. Maybe if the lighting was ont the bottom and not at the top we could see the photo better. Unless you were trying to capture more of the door jam...Hmmm...
04/25/2002 01:39:00 PM
Interesting idea, but the lighting is off
04/25/2002 12:25:00 PM
Interesting interpretation of the challenge! Photo might benefit by: being a little brighter, not using the flash to avid the lighton the handle, and moving the line of the door over to the right a bit.
04/23/2002 02:18:00 PM
bust of light coming from opened door would have made this more interesting
