Letting what would seem like so much light into the camera yet the sunlit area is perfectly exposed is quite a trick. The humans are transient and temporary but the wall will stick around much longer. Mere mortals swimming on a rock of virtual permanence. Very glad to see this since I never got around to voting on all the images. Very spleen-worthy etc.

There's something ethereal about this. The contrast between the soft transience of water and life with the solid background of stone and mortar is intriguing.

I really like this. The blur gives anonymity which appeals and keeps the photo on theme brilliantly.
