So it was 4.5 hours until rollover, Tate reminds me that I mentioned I might try to recreate the Larus shot, I get home from work, it's perfectly cloudy outside, and I'm begging my 8-year old daughter "please, please put this mud on your face. I'll give you $1. I'll give you $2." Not kidding! I had to put mud on my face first, and I think her look was driven by her genuine spite.

We all got muddy and then washed up with the hose - turned out really fun! And the ribbon makes it even more fun -- yep, Neat, gotta make good on that bribe, I suppose!

Oh, and fun fact, Julia also knocked her 6-month-old-self off my profile page:

Congrats on the ribbon. Lol at the 'if-looks-could-kill' expression. She does not look happy at all. I hope the $2 made up for it all. (Now, if I could only get my dog to go for that... )

For me, the finishing touch with the image is that your daughter is almost side on and facing the camera, I can't explain it but it adds another dimension to the shot.
