Thank you one and all for your votes and comments. It always surprises me when I get a ribbon. And this was no different. It actually got down to 5.5 at one point then slowly but steadily it climbed.....thank goodness. Hopefully this will get me out of my funk!!!

Congratulations Janine long time no see on the front page hope you get your Mojo back. As for the scores you never know where your photos going to end up, scores are all over the place lately, no consistency.

*eyeroll* Oh great, a ribbon winner wants a critique...;-) Oops you didn't hear that, did you? hehe

Greetings from the Critique Club and you've already made my job an uphill battle, Janine! Lovely exposure, achingly simple composition, utter simplicity in choice of subject and how you shot it - love how there is more feather detail in the reflection than the feather itself.

Honestly can't find any real fault with this image. So rest on your laurels, or rather feather, while you can and enjoy :-)
