Hey everyone, it's been 4 years since I posted this picture of my dog. Anyway, I was a newbie at that time and would like to say that when you say macro, I thought it means anything that is a close up shot. Well at least now I know. Thanks.

| pretty dog, probably a wonderful companion. however, a macro would have been a shot of his ear, or eye, or nose, or mouth. |

| Awwww. . . he sure is beautiful!!!!!! I'm voting him very high because the picture really appeals to me. I like his expression, the cepia tone, and it most definitely is an extrememe close-up. I have a feeling you may be getting a lot of "not a macro" comments (I got a lot of those in the last macro challenge, and my score was humiliating). I hope they are not doing that to you. I wonder if you would have cropped this to be more of a "head shot only" if it would have made the picture better. He is so pretty, it almost detracts to have anything in the picture but HIM! Anyway, I hope it does well. I really like it a lot! |

| This photo really gives the dog character, which is good, but I don't think it fits the macro/closeup challenge. |

| Beautiful dog and nice sepia tones. Would have preferred a little close for this challenge and the background does nothing for the photo, so I would have cropped tighter. |
