 Isaac agreed to pose with his puppy Buddy for this challenge, but they both got pretty distracted and maybe frustrated quite quickly(this was the second shot).

Not sure I understand what you title has to do with the photo. But you met the challenge with out the title. Beautiful, well done photo. Good focus, color, composition, lighting, etc. Some will have a problem with the chair arm, but it is of no consequence in the photo. Doesn't add to or take away from. The kid and the dog hold your eyes fine. Nice one. Congratulations.

great seeming-candid. i'm not a huge fan of on-camera flash as a lighting technique, but you gotta use whats ya got :)

Very nice shot! The dog's expression is just too funny (I don' twant this!) and the boy is just too cute. Great color, nice framing, focus is perfect! 9 Swash

It would have been nice to have the dog's attention on the camera. Shame about the back of the chair being in the background too. Good colours and exposure though.
