 I use a spot light for a little extra light and had my flash on. I just happened by the spot the ladder was set up at the right time.

Maybe with more space between the top of the ladder and the moon. Might as well go B/W, too, as the color adds nothing to the image.

This photo is too blurry for my taste and the moon needs to be centered at the top of the ladder. I think a tripod and a little more time spent on composition would have made this a very nice shot.

Good concept, but the image is blurred. Use a tripod in low light conditions to avoid camera shake.

Night shots like this are hard to "force" your camera to focus on a spot. Try using a flashlight or something on the ladder to get the camera to focus on it and you wont have this kind of problem.

Focus? Blurry shots are not appealing. If you had the slightest hint of focus on any rung of the ladder, the image might've worked. I'm wondering why you submitted it?
