I'd like to see a sharper angle upward in this picture, and maybe come out a little bit to give the books more of a frame. |

Why do you have a book still wrapped in plastic? The little corner of yellow at the top is distracting |

This doesnt imply too much of the subject for me, the angle obviously indicates the subject is above the photographer but still not enough for me. |

seems kind of dark -- I'd think of cropping out the top of the shelf as it starts to appear in the upper middle |

Fulfills the challenge. Nicely photographed, all sharp and in focus. Don't like the piece of wall that's visible in the top left. |

Look through the pictures in the books on the shelf and draw inspiration there. |

Hmmm... I can tell that the camera is looking up in this shot... The subject matter of the photo is not screaming at me to continue evaluating the shot. |

I know you're probably getting a WHOLE LOT of comments about this tongue-in-cheek picture not filling the requirements of the current challenge. Whatever. Personally, I gave this photo a lower score because it was hard for me to determine what the photo was trying to present. Is it the Earth From Above book? There's some nice color in this picture, but no real strong focal point or texture to the picture. To be honest, I'm not sure what I would have done with this photo to try and improve it. It's a very challenging picture that you've taken, and that's admirable. |

I'm sorry but, couldn't this be considered copyright infringement since the book is primarily the subject? I mean, yes, it is an original idea but, that's what it states in the rules. Unless perhaps you had the written permission of the author of the book to use his/her image for this pic. |
