I took this while snorkeling and free diving off the coast of Mexico (actually much closer to Tulum than Playa Del Carmen, but that's nit picking).

Went looking for turtles the day before, and just didn't see any under water. However this day we aren't sure how many we really saw, as we may have seen the same turtles more than once, but it seems like we saw a dozen or so different turtles.

Really an amazing experience, and one I'll always treasure -- but having the photos does make it even more awesome.

=- As a fun aside, I was floating and one of these curious fellows just floated right into my face. They really aren't too terribly shy.

So I was just thinking about you the other day, shock horror hey ;) and then lo and behold you left me a very nice comment on my photo which I really appreciated. So anyway there you are swimming in the ocean taking awesome pictures of sea life, I really liked this one.
