Thanks for the nice comments and votes. This was kind of rushed, as I only gave my niece 2 days notice, so she didn't have time to buy the correct shoes :P ~ I did however use this dress thankfully that I bought from a vintage dealer. Charlotte was an awesome model, albeit she wanted to laugh and smile in most of the photo's, had to cajole her to be serious, because as you know most of the portraits done back in Victorian days the people's countenance was quite subdued.

Congratulations Anita. Lovely portrait. I did notice the sandals but it's a pretty big ask to get all the details authentic so I set that aside. The general flavour is Victorian enough for me.

This is adorable. The dress, little angle and the entire photo speaks Victoriana. Great Job. I gave a 10 for this and congratulations for a well deserved ribbon.
