| The flowers look a little blurry, then over-sharpened. With my camera, I would have pre-focused on the flowers and then re-framed; don't know if you could do that. |

| I would like to see the subjects a little closer... there's too much space in the center.. also, I am guessing you intended the soft focus here, but for this shot I don;t particularly care for the soft focus... it's so close it should be sharp and clear... but that may just be my personal taste... and also, this is a great idea for the challenge |

| its not that its not in focus, you shook when you hit the shutter. Faster shutter speed could have helped this. |

| i would totally love this even more if not for what appears to be camera shake. maybe you did it on purpose but it doesnt add. im sure you were just trying to get a moving animal in the frame just so. i know how hard that can be. i have 2 cats :) |

| Too much empty space in the middle... should have zoomed out a little bit to more of the subjects. The lighting is nice. |

| Good idea. I like the tone that you used. I think i would have had a little less space in the middle but its still a good image. |

| This has a strong composition, but is too fuzzy to score high IMO. Do you have "neatimage"? That program might help this image, there is a free download at their site. |

| Very grainy, and looks WAY oversharped, and not nearly enough kitty in the frame! Way too much empty space between the flowers and the cat for me. Even so , had this been a nice, crisp, clear shot it would have earned a better score from me. |

| I like the sepia tone but there's a bit much dead space for my liking. The flowers are a little blurred as well. |

| You can see him almost jumping after the flower. There's something wrong with the photo and I can't quite put my finger on it. The vase appears to have moved, but the roses haven't. But the roses appear to have been over sharpened, as does the background. Maybe it's from the colorization. The cat is the only thing in nice focus and we can't see much, or even enough of him. In my opinion, there should be as much of the cat as there is of the flowers. This is just my opinon though. Nice composition, but needs better execution. I also think natural color would have been much better. I don't feel you accomplished what you intended with the color. But I could be wrong. |

| Technically something doesn't look quite right about the photos - I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what. Great shot, though, and I like the sepia. |

Composition: Flowers are excellent. Would have preferred slightly more cat?! Having a cat myself, I appreciate the problems!
Technical: Nice use of colour and contrast. Bold decision to use the high sharpening, but it really suits the pic. Might have thickened the white border slightly and got rid of the very thin black border.
Meets challenge: Yes
Overall impression: Lovely photo lacking only in animal cooperation! 7 |

| The image is very cool, although with all the space left in the middle of the photo, it becomes very disturbing to the eye. |
