 Once again thank you for the very nice comments, it's been awhile since I've had two photos over seven in one week. I'm pretty sure these guys are locals, they probably come to this cappuccino strip every day but most of them just order water. I passed by them several times to try to catch some hearty laughs, and so I did and then I left.

I thought about entering this image into the reflections challenge, but then I thought naaaaa, most half a second voters will miss the reflection and plus I didn't have any other better candid shots.

Have to admit street photography is probably my favourite genre of all time. I've grown to really really love it, and you also get to meet new people along the way.


PS, and I loved Lev's comment about no mobile phones, so true it's very difficult these days to take a photo of someone decently without a phone in their hand, that's why I like his image as well.

I'm studying the candid shots on DPC in anticipation of the upcoming challenge. This is wonderful!

RE: no mobile phones and candid shots you would love summer afternoons in Sicily. The piazzas in the coastal towns are filled with elderly folks sat in groups outside their houses on deck chairs, chatting with anyone who passes by and playing cards. It's like another time. Wonderful!
