Janine, this is great. Thanks for posting the images in your description. I need to try my hand at this style of editing again. Last time I tried, I didn't know as much as I do now. |

Hello from the critique club
A great image that contributes to the challenge well
Cor blimey Janine, I think you caught that just in time! What a cracker for the challenge theme. As for Skip’s comments, I’m not sure what he means about the shadow spread on the antenna? And as far as the halos are concerned is that the result of the sharpening? Anyway, congratulations on the ribbon, well deserved. Title? What about ‘Bleak House’ or ‘just a little TLC neededâ€Â¦Ã¢€™

This reminds me of Dorothy's house in Kansas. That the grounds about it are tended indicates a human presence somewhere. I like the many shades of gray in the roof and outer sheathing. The roiling sky is nicely ominous. It's very sharpened. The sofa is welcoming. The antenna was probably put up at a later point in time to keep in touch with Oz. |

this works, but could use a little more finesse on the post-processing (check the shadow spread on the antenna and the hallowing on the roof lines). could possibly have used a little less foreground, but all the same, nice find. |

lovely HDR. The antenna area got a bit over-treated but still my top choice. |

Wow, impressive shot. The clouds are making it complete. My favorite for a ribbon. I give you my Red dragon Award and a 10 |
