Thank you all for the kind comments during voting. I am happy you liked the image and processing. I was taking the dog for an early foggy morning walk when I saw the flock of egrets in the field. I ran back to get my camera and because of the high humidity, the lens immediately fogged. I only had a couple of minutes of shoot before they left. So, image is combination of fog and lens fog.

not just a canvas texture, but a canvas with brush stroke texture. looks nice with the muted colors.

Minimalist and beautiful 9. The texture is not my thing with wildlife but it adds a certain oil like painted feel.

This has such a lovely soft lyric to it. I normally am not overly fond of txtures, but this works so very very well.
