Sorry!! Each January we rent for 3 weeks the same holiday apartment in Zermatt with this view from the balcony, this challenge started when we were there. This year was the first time when we did not need to drive 800km to get there!!
For the rest of the year since February 2018 we live in an apartment that has this view from the balcony:
Waves of Lake Geneva
Again, sorry, but renting enabled us to do this and I love skiing and the snow covered mountains!!

Anyway I watched your time lapse video, and my son walked by and said "why are you listening to Moonlight Sonata" I said "it's a DPC photographer's video from Switzerland" I then replied "that you were a lucky X-Aussie who moved over to Switzerland", and to which he then replied "well what's stopping you" and so the seed has been planted :)

Yes, agree, people near mountains and those next to the sea should all be handicapped in the challenges ;-) |

i totally agree with Anita .. lol ..
this is just too good .. you had a distinct advantage .. ;)
however .. all that aside .. CONGRATS on the blue .. and a stunning image ..
absolutely loving the sky .. the mountains and the snow .. and the welcome lights .. beautiful and very dramatic .. :) |
