 Yes indeed, Anita, this is a wax figure of The Kid from the great Chaplin's movie. I saw this movie just 10 days ago at the Stravinsky Auditorium in Montreux with a live orchestra from Geneva. The music was composed by Chaplin years later when he already lived in Switzerland, after being banned from returning to the US. It was a musical treat as the conductor had to keep the tempo to suit the silent movie. There was a standing ovation at the end. This event was opened by one of Chaplin's sons, Eugene Chaplin, who still lives near Vevey.

PS You should not vote this image down just because it is a wax figure as it is a 3D setup and I still had to chose the angle, the framing and the PP. Yes, it is easier as the kid was not moving around and I did not tell him how to pose.

I saw this in voting and guessed it was another of your recent wax figure entries. Perhaps it should not be down-voted simply because it is a wax figure, but you can understand how some would put a higher value/score on a well captured portrait of a child compared to a well composed shot of a figure.
