Thanks for all the comments. I felt that just showing the ears and nose gave the picture an interesting look.

Interesting crop, as I look at it longer, it's growing on me. I think a different background could've been better though -- maybe a plain white wall?

Its the headless dog! Would have been much better with all of the dog's head.
05/05/2002 01:30:00 PM
Very good. I like the light hearted confrontational nature of it. Cropping the dogs face at the nose is brilliant. Bravo!!

you must have had a reason for chopping off the top of Bud's head. Just like my pic, plenty of ground and not enough up. I like it though.
05/04/2002 12:37:00 PM
Cute picture!
05/04/2002 06:48:00 AM
I just want to see those eyes.
05/03/2002 12:29:00 PM
I wish I could see this cute guy's face. It would add so much more emotion to the scene.
05/03/2002 11:09:00 AM
Love this. Brings back many memories. The perspective is great.
05/03/2002 09:45:00 AM
I like this picture a lot, especially the way it is cropped.
05/02/2002 02:03:00 PM
Funny shot. Maybe would have been better as a verticle photo?
05/02/2002 01:01:00 AM
where is his face?
05/01/2002 08:11:00 PM
sucker for a cute dog shot, like that the eyes arent in the shot. very well behaved dog or a quick shutter :>
05/01/2002 02:41:00 PM
Makes me feel like a little bug on the floor!
05/01/2002 01:37:00 PM
Normally, I'd probably not like cropping the top of this poor dog's head off -- but it works. I think a plainer )or maybe even just a more simple) background would have made this a much more interesting shot.
05/01/2002 11:57:00 AM
heehee, awww, hope you didn't keep him waiting TOO long!
05/01/2002 11:14:00 AM
I like this photo. It has wonderful focus, depth of field and is unique. Great crop and subject:)

Kind of wonder why you didn't go portrait orientation for this. I think it kind of works like this (the biscuit is good stuff), but I'm sure others have voted low because of it, and there's no crowd-pleaser like a puppy face.
05/01/2002 08:07:00 AM
I guess you cut off his head on purpose for creativity sakes, but honestly, it drives me nuts! Really nice color though!
04/30/2002 03:46:00 PM
as fun as dog's genitalia are, I would have prefered to see a little more of his face
04/30/2002 10:43:00 AM
Love the idea and concept. Photo is nice and sharp. Would have been a close contender for winning in portrait format with the whole head showing.
04/30/2002 04:53:00 AM
This is one of the most interesting shots I have seen so far... This one 'speaks' to me... good work!
04/29/2002 09:39:00 PM
Love the composition!
04/29/2002 08:25:00 PM
Very up close and personal shot of Bud. I like the feeling that the biscuit just doesn't cut it for good ol buddy, you must be eating a Big Mac.
04/29/2002 05:41:00 PM
I don't mean to be snide, but the dogs genitals seem to be the focal point of the picture. Nice shot nevertheless.
04/29/2002 04:12:00 PM
don't i know that dog from somewhere
04/29/2002 03:53:00 PM
I feel like a mouse. :)

Does not relate to the topic.........

Awww, Bud's belly! Too cute!
04/29/2002 02:04:00 PM
Good subject and color
04/29/2002 01:55:00 PM
i think it would have been better if bud's head wasn't chopped off
04/29/2002 01:13:00 PM
That is great. I love how you cut out the top of the puppy's head to make him look even taller. How did you get him to not take the food right away.
04/29/2002 10:40:00 AM
Hmm... it seems like the dog's head was cut off by mistake, because there isn't a real subject to the photo. A closer view of the nose would perhaps have been better.
04/29/2002 09:56:00 AM
i love how you got the dog to stay there by tempting him with a bone.
04/29/2002 09:27:00 AM
cute picture, but does the dog have a head?
04/29/2002 09:23:00 AM
cute dog ... I'd rather see the face
04/29/2002 08:51:00 AM
kitchen as a background just doesn't seem to work. Nice doggy
04/29/2002 08:25:00 AM
I would have liked to see from the perspective of a little closer to the dog and a little more 'up', perhaps framed vertically. I think it's too bad you can't see his eyes, eager to eat that bone. Right now, the focal point is on a place where you really don't want it (I hope)...
04/29/2002 07:48:00 AM
like I wanna see your dogs dick!!!
04/29/2002 07:39:00 AM
He is just too cute for words.
04/29/2002 07:26:00 AM
I guess I would prefer if I saw the puppy's full head. Otherwise, very nice.
04/29/2002 05:31:00 AM
Nice crotch shot! Nice shot.
04/29/2002 12:59:00 AM
is Bud in the witness protection plan?
04/29/2002 12:35:00 AM
I really want to see Bud's face.
