 Rope and string have unique textures. I was tinkering with some masonary string and noticed that up close it looks just like a full size rope. Sring is just a baby rope. . .

I do like the green highlights, it seems to add extra flavor to the shot. Focus seems pretty sharp. No distracting background issues (though it doesn\'t appear to me to be all the same shade of dark - brighter spot in the middle). Shading on the rope is nice, adds depth. I kinda missed the point behind the title, sorry, my bad! Just off cemetrical cropping, doesn\'t seem to add anything. Interest - sorry, but it doesn\'t really grab me and hold me. 6 Swash

The composition here is good but the color is a little flat... maybe not quite enough light on the subject? - setzler

Interresting subject. The texture of the rope is really nice. Unfortunately the photo is a little dark.

Please, please go back and adjust the levels in Photoshop!!!! The yellows really pop against the purple background! I've got to believe this is what you really intended. With that in mind, this is really cool

The focus is real good, and I like how the rope dissects the picture diagonally. On the down side, the lighting is dark, and some of the rope is ... green?
