6m high on a roof in Heerhugowaard.
We had to inspect the roof, because they possibly want it replaced.

This pic is straight from the camera, only resampled and Unsharp Mask.

The leading lines are twofold. The steel roof plate profile lines lead to the person, the ladder leads to the person, etc.
On the other hand, the person looks towards the roof, it shows what this pic is about.
Huge lens distortion by cheap Sony optics showing what wideangle distortion is all about.

I would have liked to come up with something better, but I was sick the for three days now. ;(

Nice shot. His head is a bit bright though. Did it pass inspection?

More lines than I can count, but none take me in a particular direction.

Plethora of lines here to contrast. Sun a bit bright on the subjects face and hands

To many lines here, some distracting ones (the one going through this poor guy's head for example). A shot, facing the "inspector" using the gutter alone as a leading line could have been a better choice.

Ah good, the lines are leading right to the main subject, it's a good quality shot and a good crop.

It's good picture but the lines don't really do anything for the subject.

Although not a bad photo, it might not be a wall-hanger. This was a tough challenge and my entry is not doing well, so really can't talk much!!

this is an interesting composition.. the leading line theme may be a little weak but it works :) - setzler

Sorry, this shot just doesn't do a lot for me. The "leading lines" (roof) takes up less than half the shot, and doesn't have a lot of impact. There are quite a few distractions - the upper edge of the road with the grass and the curb, the car on the right, and the bushes - and for me, they all detract from the "leading lines" theme. I would have considered shooting from the top of the roof down at the gentleman, down close to the roof to try to make the lines the largest part of the composition. Good lighting, nice clear, well focused shot otherwise.
