Explanation: The background was out of my control. This "paperboy" was placed in front of a bookstore, and management would not allow it to be moved. The confusion between his legs is a tree, I believe, and I believe the lower right hand corner is the sky. |

Subject matter seems a little bland. |

Hilarious idea! Could you have moved him in front of a less distracting background (no windows)? |

I really like this shot. Everything works. From "the ground up" perspective makes the object bigger than life. The message board lets us know what the object is. The cutout is very interesting. The muted wall is just right. Even the reflection in the window adds to the effect |

Interesting subject. The backlighting was a good choise, because you don't have the glare on the front yet you're able to tell that it's flat by the highlights around the edges. I'm a bit confused by the space between his legs and below his paper, so that is a bit distracting. Is the white a doorway? It seems as if there ought to be more yellow in that area, but I don't know the scene really.. |

There's a cool interplay of depth and perspective in this photo. I like it :) |

Novel subject.... Nice and crisp. This doesn't do much for the "from the ground up" issue, though... |
