I really thought hard about which photo to enter for this challenge, a really tough choice.
In the end, I settled for this photo as I think it reflects great qualities I developed as a photographer in 2004. My camera was trained on this scene for about 10-15 minutes before I got this shot, as I loved the backdrop but wanted something interesting to happen in front of it. At the start of the year, I was very nervous of taking candid shots, but here I was standing my ground while the guy in the photo was giving me some really evil stares. My patience paid off, when he came into view with someone's dropped keys! I only wish that his arm was a bit lower so his face was clearer.

I love how you captured "the moment" in this shot. Awesome.

I remember this, combination of pose and background is hilarious with social commentary a bonus.

Colors are great, but the photo is not very compelling in subject

Cool shot. Very shiny. I wish we could see his whole face.

what a kick! i'll bet this was a blast to shoot. excellent work here, all the way around. the colors rock, and the composition is perfect! i hope this gets the attention it deserves--it really is a breath of fresh air. good luck with this, and the challenges yet to come!

[and, as a side note, you might want to look into entering this in your state fair this year. our va state fair actually has a submission category for "state fair images", and something like this would do very, very well. just an idea to keep in mind.]

Great colors. Almost makes the picture including the subject animated.

Nice illusion created by this image. Vibrant colours as well. Good luck.

I remember this and I do think it's a wonderful juxtaposition of real man and keys with fantasy car and giant sexy lady. If the image were taken a split second earlier or later to show a touch more of the man's face it would be an even stronger image for me and I think it's great already. 8

Flashy composition. Shame the guy has his arm ahead a part of his face.

Bobster right ?? This is a really great candid. Would have ribboned in that challenge for sure. I can see why you chose this out of your excellent portfolio (As much as I think some of your other images would have done better in the general DPC scheme of things), it's certainly worth a chuckle. 9.

This is a stunning image on so many levels. I gave it a 10, even though I wish (oh how I wish...) his arm were 5 degrees less angled so we could see the rest of his face...
