| The DOF is a bit off here - I'd like to seee the entire bark in focus. Great detail on the bark that is in focus!! |

I like that you've managed to get a green background and it's blurred out very nicely. The DoF is perfect with good detail on the bark, and the diagonals are very strong.
The only thing I don't like is the out of focus part on the left hand side - if I cover it with my hand I see a much better, cleaner shot.
A good photo, and I do like it. |

| Yes this is green, but not very pleasing to look at. You could have focused it better by messing with your dof. Sorry. |

| I tried to photograph moss on bark yesterday with no luck whatsoever, I think I would have liked more DOF in the front so that I could actually see the detail of the large, orange thing. But I like the DOF as far as the nice detail on top and the nice soft background. You added a lot of interest to the composition by cropping at this angle, nice detail. |

| I like the colors and the composition, but, for me, the dof is detimental to this shot. There is a narrow band of the photo running from the top left to the lower right that is in focus and the rest of it is just blurry. |

Composition is pretty good
Meets Challenge
Visual impact is good, good focus at top, but fades as it nears the bottom
Originality is nice, good idea
Colours looks nice
