Good colors and diagonals. I hope they seriously didn't think this was a real plane. It's pretty flimsy and I wouldn't be riding in it! Especially if he's that bad of a pilot. :-) |

I had hoped that everyone who saw this shot would realise that this is a MODEL aircraft, not a real plane, yet from the comments I can see that little things like the scale of the grass and the very thin landing gear went unnoticed by a couple of you :o)
Yes, this was a set-up shot - I dare not crash this one, since it doesn't belong to me! I tried various different angles, trying to make it more exciting, and this one was not the best of the bunch. However, I couldn't use some of the other shots, since there are various background object I had to keep out of shot to hide the fact that this was taken on my back lawn and not on the flying field.
As I said before, this was not my prefered shot, as the focus was on the nose of the plane, rather than the main body, but I was pleased with the lighting - I did some shots later in the day when the sun was brighter, but the glare off the wings was too great...
Thanks for all the comments! :o) |

Love the idea, as for the shot/angle you've chosen, it may be a little bland. I think a more dramatic angle is needed -- or more props to show that the plane did crash. |

Would of been cooler if you could of gotten a shot of the plane flying upsidedown, unless this is the results of it :) |

Nice, For a second I thought it was a "real" plane then I saw the size of the grass and realized it was a model |

If you focused on the near wing, the whole thing would have been in focus. |
