I like this, nice SP. I would have loved it if it was even darker black and the front details were gone, but I know you can't always do that with challenges, no idea why this is scored so low really. |

OK, first thing that stands out as a negative here is the corner of the TV. There's a little section of background that is a slight lighter color than the TV and it's in the upper left. With you being in the lower left, I think that it's a bit of a distraction from you.
Focus and clarity look great, especially for being a low light shot.
I love the framing/cropping you chose. I think the negative space works really well in a shot such as this.
Side note...I really REALLY want a Snickers candybar right now.
The lighting in my opinion is great. I like how it hides features and shows others. This photo shows that you can still be a 'tough guy' and still 'pose' for photos.
I personally think this should have scored higher, but I'm a little odd like that anyway. Nice one.

nice idea, but much too dark. I know that was your intent, but a hint of facial features would be good. |

Well-suited to the title.
I had look closely here as I initially thought you added a border on only part of it. I see it isn't - it's part of the background.
Well seen & composed/exposed. (7) |

Like the composition of this. I would like to see just a bit more of his face. |

Lacks contrast I think. Looks like contrast was turned down. |

Of course he's shady,,, he's wearing a Blue Jay's hat... could be worse I guess,,, he could be wearing a Maple Leaf Hat.. Not a bad photo and good negative space but you could have made him look even shadier by partially lighting his facial features and introducing shadows. I like it, and scored it above average. Good luck
