great capture.... the subject is a little dark though,. Also you can add some color to the background.. make it a little blue to add contrast to the image |

Fantastic capture. The shape reminds me of the SR71 Blackbird, maybe that's just me being strange. |

Magnificent. To me the birds the feathers look like a mess and the positioning of the legs make me wonder if it's about to land. There's a nice balance between what it's carrying and the shape of the bird too. I like it a lot. |

What an interesting angle. Love those dangling feet! A nit - I'd have titled it differently. Something about "take off" or "nesting" but not sure exactly what. |

this is cool, I'm sure I've seen thousands of heron shots but this is a new angle, probably too much to ask but flash would have put more light onto the underside of the wings and body, excellent capture |

Never look up when a heron or pelican flys over, just an expert warning ;) great unique shot.
