This is the shot I should have entered. Please comment. |

I want to thank everyone for their comments. I feel I overstated the challenge and made my subject too small. I had another image from the same day that would have been a better entry, and I may have choose the wrong one. I will try to post that image soon. Thanks again. |

I keep wanting to tilt my head to the right just a bit. The haze along top left works for me, as does the person in front of the door. |

IMO, the person of the title isn't the focal point of the picture (I had to look hard to see them), the church is. |

I'm failing to see how this qualifies for minimalism. I would like to point out that your entire building seems to be leaning to the right. Perhaps a quick visit in photoshop, crop, and rotate slightly to the right would have corrected this.
Other than that it's a nice picture of a church. |

What presents "minimalism"? A beautiful church but a photo is more a basic tourist photo. |

depends too much on the title - you shouldn't have to tell viewers that someone's there, they should see it. show, not tell. |

This is an interesting shot, but I'm not sure it fits with the idea of minimalism as defined in the challenge description. |

I am not sure this fits the challenge unless you are refering to yourself as minimal which of course we all are in this life Image is a bit dark |

Took me a little bit to find the praying person. Cool photo with a lot of depth of faith and field. The sky is grand. Blessings to you! |

it's not very sharp and the person is had to make out - not a strong point of the composition by any means |

I don't see how it fits the challenge, but maybe I'm missing something. If I did, I apologize for the score. |

nice building, is that a person or a fire hydrant in front of it? |

I get the idea and I like it but somehow I don't find the image strong enough to live up to the title. |

I think the subject is a bit too minimal. Hard to spot. |

It's a nice photo, but I really wouldn't consider it Minimalism. The person sitting by the door gets lost in the picture and doesn't draw attention. |

Not sure if this is right. The church is the subject and it takes up most of the image. |

Transform perspective in photoshop to correct the building to make it straight up and down. |

Minimal yes, but doesn't have the simple elegance I associate with minimalism. |
