 I was in Florida over my schools spring break and i went to the Morikami Japanese gardens in Delray. It was an amazing place, with all sorts of birds and flowers and bugs. There were plenty of dragonflies. I knew i wouldn't be able to get a Jacko Macro of a dragonfly, so i made due with what was possible. I had nminimalism in mind and looked for certain set ups that would work. This was one of the few set ups that a dragonfly actually came to.

I have never seen a more graceful bug capture. This image has grace, poise and above all a sweet beauty. Kudos on your great effort.

Delicate and pretty! Such a strong subject with great detail that the negative space seems to be a necessary balance (rather than an empty space to meet the challenge).

Fantastic timing! Love the perspective and the great bokeh. The fly is very sharp and detailed, and the processing is very clean without distracting artifacts. Have you considered turning this into a duotone? Overall a great image for this challenge. 8

I love this little insect...I wish there was a little less of the white highlights on the right. The right side could be cropped more.

Great shot! Perfect for this challenge. Only nit is that the background is a bit too bright (especially on the right hand side) and that distracts from the subject a little too much.
