Congrats on the 68%. Great combo of colors. Unique arrangement. The mushrooms, previously soaked in Fairbanks screw-top Port, may have added another interesting color to your combo.

Great Work... little did I know that I consumed your subject! A little Shitake~Chardonnay dressing may have given it an interesting sheen... I know it gave it a great flavor!

| Very cool shot! I like the selection of vegetables, the colors blend and make a nice composition. Placing them on white background adds a nice simplicity and enhances their vibrant colors. |

| Looking straight down is a little boring with this picture, perhaps if you changed the angle, the vege's could have a greater impact |

| What do you mean "Dinner for one"? I would starve! Meets the challenge. Very clear and lighting looks good. Artistic value is ok. Does not give me the WOW feeling but I still like the composition. |

Simple, elegant, colorful, and the background has just enough texture and shadow to keep it from being monotonous. I find myself vaguely craving a slice of radish, and I don't even like radishes. The noise/grain works well for you, here.
You'll probably get docked for filling over a quarter of the space, but it meets the classic definition of minimalism, if not the contest description, so I'm not docking anything for that. It's not quite as evocative as the best image I've seen so far, against which I'm measuring my 10s, so this gets a 9. |
