You did great, and so did your son!! You're right. . .this TOTALLY conveys EMOTION. I think attitude IS a type of emotion anyway. Great job for this challenge!

Although teenagers can be moody, rebelliousness is a attitude or a behavior pattern. The border seems a bit too think, a large border does offset him from the surroundings, reinforcing the separation he seems to try to create between himself and the viewer.

Interesting image. I think the tight crop works well here |

Although teenage rebellion isn't exactly a mood, you've portrayed a really good shot of disassociative apathy ;)
I like this, but wish the main photograph was larger. Wide borders are great for framed prints, but just detract in a web image. |

Interesting attempt at a high-impact portrait, some of the skin tones have too much glare though... looks like the lighting was a bit harsh. |

This seems to be more about attitude...not emotion...really interesting subject though and I really like the black and white. |

Oooooooh. . . . definitely emotional. Nice and sharp. The tones work good with the emotion you are conveying. |

lol...that nose ring gauge looks way too small, the lipstick shade or color is probably unflattering I'd stick with flat blacks or blues...btw...lol is that really a nose ring? |

My first thought...what will this teenager think of this picture, 25 or 30 years from now. This is a great image to do in B&W, as it forces the veiw to concentrate on the details of the lips, eyes, and hair. Great detial, and skin textures, with a facial expresssion that says it all. Nice job. <6> |

except for the smudgy lipstick and the upper-lip fuzz, this would make a perfect goth-glam shot. (6) |
