Nicely done. I like the idea, but the foreground pieces may be a bit too out of focus.

Good, but surrounded by what? The title doesn't fit, so you must acquit!

The shadows and the flare detract from this for me.

good use of the DOF. Unfortunately the piece doesn̢۪t seem quite straight.

We can see what you are trying to do; very creative. But it doesn't really work out in this photo. Perhaps if it was brighter so that you could have more of the "surrounding" men focussed?

Nice concept, the surrounded piece is captured (no pun intended) quite well, but the surrounding pieces are only blurred shadows on the edge of the picture. If I had to do the shot, I would try zooming out just a little more so that they are recognizable but still blurred. You would've also got a nice reflection of the surrounded piece.

I like this shot, also like the out of focus pieces in the front framing the in focus on in the middle, it looks a little off level to me

neat view and different lighting

Nice shadowing effects

I like this photo a lot, it's very beautiful. It's a shame the piece is leaning to the right a bit though.

I wish the specular highlights were just a bit smaller -- I bet it was better before feeding it to the JPEG machine...

Great shot. I like how you used the sort of silhouette of other pieces as your boarder to give a claustrophobic feeling for the king.

I really like the soft shadows and framing around this shot. The glare on the left side seems a little intense to me. A good shot though. Gave it a 7.

I really like this photo! The only thing *I* would prefer to see is the center piece more 'centered' between the two out of focus pieces in the foreground. In this photo, the out of focus pieces in the foreground are effectively used to frame the subject of this photo... good job!

nice framing. Like the various grades of translucency.

Nice job. I'm nit picking - it's leaning a bit and if not the lines make it look like it is. I think a different colored piece would of been better and scored better. This is nice work.

great idea, but the shaddows are kinda hard to tell that they are other pieces, and the lens flares detract from the overall shot.

Well, it's not really surrounded, because there's nothing to the far side of the center piece. I really like the idea of framing the one piece with the others, but there's almost not enough of the shadowy pieces for me.

Simplicity at its finest. Love the shadow, coloring and clarity - Great photo.

I want to name my next child after you. PJ (Pete/Jerry) or Peanut butter & Jelly. :)
