| Ugh, I agree with your title, but I greatly dislike bugs! No points off for that though! The lack of focus in the foreground is hard for the eye to get past to see the "face" of the subject. 5 |

as much as spiders scare me, this photo intrigues me. Excellent clarity if his eyes
the DOF is specific to his eyes and "face" WTG! |

| I'm afraid you'll get hammered with this one, but you probably know that already. I love critters, and have NO problems with this one, either, but even I wouldn't call it beautiful. Fascinating, though, in its wonderful macro detail. |

| I gave you an 9, not because I really like to watch spiders, but because this is just a beautiful capture of the creature. I went into the spider's world myself for quite a while, capturing their life and homes, you can find it at //pbase.com/lookheretitia in one of my albums. |
