I honestly don't care too much for this image but I think it is a direct result of the lighting. Outdoor shots are impossible to control in that respect - all you can do is wait around and see if it gets better. Sometimes though, you have to make due with what you've got. For an action shot its pretty good - your timing is excellent. Think maybe a slighter tighter crop would help, maybe eliminating the duck to the far left and the duck butt at the bottom. That kind of crop would put more emphasis on the splash rather than the empty space in the middle of the image. A decent attempt at a bird shot, a great stop action shot. Good luck in the challenge! |

Great capture, nice colors and composition. Maybe cropped a little tighter on the bottom to get rid of the partial duck |

good timing. focus is a bit soft. your composition could use some work. there's alot going on against your subject and on the edges, it's hard to focus on the bird that's landing-4 |

cool fast action shot. Nice reflections, and composition. However, crop the duck butt from the bottom of the photo, shoot from a lower angle to increase interest, play with post-editing to boost color sat and contrast. |

Nice capture of the landing, like the action captured in the water. |
