i hate geese, they hiss and scare me and they were the only birds i could get close enough to shoot (photographically anyway). i liked this one i guess because the white duck looked fake, almost painted.

Interesting shot, good idea, what would improve it for me is if the second goose was not in the frame.

this needs some better composition with these two subjects, it looks unbalanced.

This could be a really interesting and humorous image if not for the over saturation. It makes the geese look plastic. The cropping may have included some more of the white goose but I know sometimes you take what you can get with wild animals! Good luck in the challenge!

Something is not quite right here. The bird in front doesn't look good at all, does he need a doctor? Looks like the photo is burned out.

I don't care for the composition for the blown out sky, sorry

Too bright on the background.

the overexposed sky killed the photo imho.

This looks very unnatural to me, but I'm not sure why. Too heavy onthe sharpening? I like the concept of the angle, but to me the tree overpowers the geese - perhaps get more of the birds in, or crop down to lessen the impact of the trees?

Interesting angle and juxtaposition of the two geese.
Wish the Canada Goose still had the tip of its beak.
Exposure is a bit blown out...could be effectively used to carry a graphic quality but, in that case, I think you need to tone down the background colors.

a cute shot a bit overexposed for me tho

This needs to be cropped differently. Obviously the sky is way to blown out to be anything but a distraction. Appears the tree not the birds are the subject of this picture.

Interesting angle and composition (I like the different perspective), but it looks way overprocessed. The light & glares are really distracting to me. It looks like you had some good detail on the birds and trees too, but IMHO the processing blew it away. It certainly meets the challenge, but personally the shot is not one of my favorites. Sorry. nice thought, but there is too much distraction from the tree and bright areas centered in your shot, the left goose is not in focus, and right goose is off the page.

Love your perspective but just seems a bit too high key to me

I like the angle of this shot, but the composition seems almost haphazard. I imagine it would be hard to get two geese to pose well for this shot :-) But there is a lot of tree and background and not as much "bird".

strange composition, goose on the right is cut off and pretty snug on the bottom.
