 While visiting the local 'zoo' with my family, we noticed a rodeo going on next door at the county fairgrounds. My wife suggested a shot of a cowboy riding a horse as transportation... and voila! We both loved this shot for the captured action and emotion of both the rider and the animals.

Terrific shot! I'm from Texas and therefore have been to NUMEROUS rodeos...and you captured the action of the calf roping BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!

fabulous action shot, I love the motion blur, I feel dizzy just looking at the background. :) Wish more of the lasso and horse's tail were in the shot, but those are nitpicks! I am curious how many voters will have said "this isn't transportation, its a rodeo!" A horse is a horse (though).. of course... (sorry, couldn't resist!)

The speed of the chase is well captured here. For more impact you might have left more space in front of the calf.

this could also be called 'fuel' ;-) i like the panning effect, but find the background distracting (although i know there wasn't much you could do about it).
