This photo was taken as I stood on the dining room table peering down into one of the lights of the chandelier. I used the dimmer switch to lessen the brightness of the bulb. Other than a little saturation and exposure tweaking, this is pretty much what I saw in the camera.

A lovely abstract. Well exposed, considering the dr that the lightbulb would have created. Another candidate for futher exploration? I like how it's asymetric and think that it would be interesting to do a series at different angles.

striking image...the middle seems a bit "hot" to me, but the shot meets the challenge well. Love the colors and texture of the shade

clean, but not properly composed. I would rather see this centered.

bold and vibrant I like that you didn't try and force it into the rule of thirds thing with too much empty space ... Could the center hole be toned down to me it is too bright.

Is this inside of a lamp shade? I think it's a lightbulb... I think this shot would be stronger if I could identify the bulb a bit more... actually seeing the filament. Nice colors and great backdrop - 6- JeB

Very striking image against the black background. I love the detail in the shade, and the vibrant color. This one stands out, even among 550 entries. 10
