Loved the symmetry of this little guys tail. Almost looked like a flower. Hummingbirds are truly my favorite subjects. Couldn't resist submitting into the challenge. Cropped, Sharpened, desaturated. Taken with the Canon 75-300 with flash at dusk.

very creative. I don't know how you ever got this shot.

Nice composition and contrast. The arrow shape starts to send the eye out the right side, but the strong contrast brings your eye back. The gray helps keep the image from looking too stark and the star shape it makes is very nice.

Interesting composition. Some more sharpness would have helped.

I think I might have preferred this photo if you rotated it 90 degrees clockwise so it looks like the bird is flying out of the frame at the top. I love seeing the texture of the feathers and the perfect symmetry.

This just strikes me as odd, for some reason. I understand that you're probably wanting to focus on the texture of the tail feathers, yet I can't see why you wouldn't include the entire bird.

This is a REALLY unique shot. Wasn't sure I like the B/W on the first pass, but it's grown on me. Pretty good clarity (given how fast these little suckers move). Beautiful composition - the black background works well. I like this a lot. Nice work. Bumping up.
